Independent. Transparent. Free.
A reading room for JNVU students.
Original study material, organised around the prescribed syllabus. This is an independent educational website, not an official JNVU publication.
Which syllabus does this site follow?
The primary route is based on a university-titled 2026–27 intake document hosted by G.D. Memorial College. The document schedules ordinary BA Semesters I–VI across 2026–29 and the honours extension through 2029–30. It includes English majors, minors and elective choices.
Direct university confirmation is pending.
JNVU’s official syllabus pages could not be retrieved during verification on 4 October 2026. The institutional copy has not been independently matched to an approved university-hosted document. Check your admission cohort, programme and prescribed papers with your department.
Older annual and NEP curricula coexist. A partial 2024–25 archive covers only Semesters I–II and differs materially from the new major/minor structure. It is not a complete back-paper archive.

How the material is written
Each guide provides Learn, Prepare and Revise modes. Explanations and model answers are original. Factual details are checked against primary texts, publishers and scholarly sources; critical readings are interpretations that students should test against the text.
All currently available questions are created for this site. They are labelled practice questions, never previous-year questions. “Key question” means an editorial revision priority, not a prediction about the next university examination.
The guides are substantial study-support drafts. Academic review remains pending and is displayed on the reading page and PDF. Kanyadan’s full prescribed English script was unavailable, so its limitations are recorded separately.
Copyright & responsible use
We publish original notes, paraphrases, analysis and questions. No commercially published guidebooks or complete copyrighted plays are reproduced. Public-domain status varies by text, translation and country; links to legitimate sources are supplied instead of uploading full literary works.
The notes may support learning and exam preparation; they do not replace the prescribed work or your teacher’s guidance. No student account, telephone number or registration is required.
